Okay, maybe I'm just a little weird, but I have certain songs in my mp3 archive that, when I play them, make me think of my character. Sometimes at good moments, sometimes bad ones, some for the lyrics and some for the music. Does anyone else do that? Maybe you try it if you don't, it's great for putting yourself in character before you do any RP.

General comment about moving to Antigua

If you are moving to Antigua, it is important to note that right now New Orleans is at 7K by the 'rats and the circle covers Buloxi. It may be smart to move all goods/ships out of those two ports before doing the transfer.

It appears that Represailles is dissolving and Flat Earth is moving to Rackham.

I would say with about 75% certainty that La Compagnie will be moving to Antigua. The French community there is small and dedicated, a bit like our our old Bonny during better times. Most folks seemed friendly and fun, from what I could tell, though it is clear they have very few RP aspirations. ...

Disappointment at Grenville

Yesterday I was one of seven who fought at Grenville. Five were from the Confederacy, one from FES, and one unaligned. We only had two or three who had any experience in port battles, and nobody was willing to act as leader. In terms of levels, we had a 49 (ReJean Lemay), a 42 (Nicole la Souris), and the rest were 30-somethings. It was my first port battle, since I'm online at an odd time (11pm-1am Pacific).
