Thanks for posting this Cathern, most interesting.
You can sure tell the "good" pirates from the bad ones.

I expecially liked the story about [url=http://www.kipar.org/piratical-resources/pirate-fame.html#John Rackham ('Calico Jack')]John Rackham[/url]. A 9 man crew with 2 women, when attacked only the women were sober enough to fight.

Anne Bonny and Mary Read....A book that covers it in psudo-history is "The only life that Mattered..."
